We can’t drop a skip in the highway without a permit, but we do have alternative options (wait and load service or dumpy bag collection). Give us a call to discuss your options.

We apply for the permit directly with our contact in Streetworks for you. It takes 10 working days for the permit to be granted and it is valid for up to 30 days.

Absolutely. You can arrange to have the skip picked up before your hire period ends or to extend the hire. Just give us a call.

We’re unable to accept:

  • Bamboo
  • Knotweed
  • Ragwort
  • Fire extinguishers, gas bottles and canisters
  • Digger tracks
  • Batteries
  • Flares, ammunition and weapons
  • Fluorescent tubes
  • Lime plaster, bags of powder
  • We can take paint tins, but they must have the lid attached securely

We can take, but will charge an additional fee for:

  • Plasterboard
  • Mattresses
  • Tyres
  • Fridges/freezers
  • TVs/monitors
